WEB DESIGN POLICY

ESTIMATE

It is agreed that 50% of the estimate is due to web designer before starting the design of the website. The final bill, which covers the cost of the website, is due within 48 hours upon completion and approval of the website from the client. The website remains the property of designer until payment is made. Final cost may be more or less than the estimate. Before the cost of the estimate is exceeded, client will be notified and approval will be requested. Estimates are based on a flat rate. The final cost will exceed the original contract amount ONLY if the client requests more work to be done than what was initially agreed upon. Extra time required to make changes to the web site will be added to final bill at a rate of $50 per hour.

COMPLETION DATE

The web designer agrees to have client site completed no later than 21 business days after the signing of the contract and the initial payment has been received by web designer. This deadline will be reached ONLY if the client has provided all necessary graphics, text content, DNS and server login information to the web designer within 3 days of the contract execution. Web designer shall not be held responsible for delays to site development arising out of client's delays in providing all content needed to proceeed with site. If web site is not completed within 21 business days due to lack of client assistance, web designer may close the project and bill client for remaining balance of invoice and refunds for work not completed will not be given.

CLIENT ASSISTANCE

If the client does not supply the web designer complete text, graphics and content within 3 days of signing the contract, web designer may choose to create a web site using all content that has been provided, and send a final bill as work completed, to meet the project deadline.

CANCELLATION OF DESIGN PROJECT

Web designer reserves the right to refuse service and cancel a design job if necessary, in which case, the amount of the initial payment will be refunded to client. If the client halts work on the web site and applies for a refund within 5 business days, work completed shall be billed at an hourly rate of $50 per hour. If, at the time of requested refund, work has been completed equalling the amount of the initial payment, no portion of this initial payment shall be refunded to the client.
